The roji rennovation project began Saturday, Sept 10 with a full day of de-construction led by our garden designer, Mark Bourne, Green Gulch tea students Naomi Yoder and Qayyum Johnson, and Gavin Lower who came from Virginia to join us. We began by removing stepping stones, gravel, large rocks, many plants (some of which will be re-planted later) and the main front path. We are grateful to the many donors who have made this project possible, and are still hoping to raise an additional $7,000 to complete our budget.
